Thus Sat Two Men

Cudos Hugo

There sat two men upon a ledge
Who cast their dreams
with skipping stones
Across the rolling tide
While casting eyes along the ledge
And over rolling hills
To where once their sat a man
In dreamers eyes and
built the world again.
With each hop of Dutch-flat rock
They smiled and knew the other
They spent three hours maybe more
And saw the sun salute the day
Thus sat two men in Sandycove
One evening late in May
